Repurposing your posts into brand ads: Bangkok fees 2026
By Mai Influence
A brand loved your organic post. Now they want to boost it, run it as a Reel ad, feed it into their Spark Ads, or cut it into a 15-second TikTok ad. That is not the deal you signed. That is a second deal, and it is where most Bangkok creators quietly leave money on the table in 2026.
Repurposing is a separate right. The fee you charged for one organic post bought the brand one organic post. The moment they put spend behind it, cut it, or move it off your account onto theirs, you are owed more.
The three things brands actually mean by "repurposing"
The word gets used loosely in Bangkok briefs, usually on purpose. Pin them down before you quote.
- Boosting your original post. They pay the platform to amplify the exact post, still on your handle. Easiest to price, lowest incremental lift for you, but still a paid-media use of your face and name.
- Spark Ads or Partnership Ads. TikTok's Spark Ads and Meta's Partnership Ads run the creative on the brand's ad account while attributing it to your handle. You remain the face, they get the pixel data, your account gets the view count but not the revenue.
- Full repurposing into brand-owned ads. They take the raw footage or the finished edit, strip or reduce your handle, and run it on their own ad accounts, on billboards near Siam, on in-store screens at Terminal 21, on YouTube pre-rolls. This is the one worth real money.
Charge differently for each. A flat "usage fee" line in a brief is a signal the brand hopes you will not separate these.

The 2026 Bangkok fee ranges, by tier
Rates below are expressed as a multiplier on the organic post fee, with typical and top-quartile figures. Multipliers hold more steadily than raw THB numbers across categories, which is why most Bangkok creator contracts quote them this way now.
Nano (5K to 20K followers):
- Boost of your original post for 30 days: typical 0.3x organic fee, top-quartile 0.5x. In THB that is roughly 1,500 to 3,500 on top of a 5,000 to 8,000 baht post.
- Spark or Partnership Ads for 30 days: typical 0.6x, top-quartile 1.0x.
- Full repurposing to brand ad accounts for 30 days: typical 1.0x, top-quartile 1.5x. Nano creators often undersell this one because the baseline post fee feels small. Do not.
Micro (20K to 100K followers):
- Boost of your original post for 30 days: typical 0.4x, top-quartile 0.6x.
- Spark or Partnership Ads for 30 days: typical 0.8x, top-quartile 1.2x.
- Full repurposing to brand ad accounts for 30 days: typical 1.2x, top-quartile 2.0x. On an 18,000 baht Reel, a top-quartile full-repurposing fee lands around 36,000 baht for the month.
Macro (100K+ followers):
- Boost of your original post for 30 days: typical 0.5x, top-quartile 0.75x.
- Spark or Partnership Ads for 30 days: typical 1.0x, top-quartile 1.5x.
- Full repurposing to brand ad accounts for 30 days: typical 1.5x, top-quartile 2.5x, with floors by category. Macro beauty and wellness tend to sit at the top of that range, macro F&B closer to typical.
Numbers below those "typical" figures are not bargains, they are a tell that the brand has run this move before and the last creator did not push back. You can set your free creator profile on Mai Influence to publish these ranges with your rate card so briefs come in pre-sorted.
One organic fee buys one organic post. Anything else is a second invoice, with its own window, its own territory, and its own exit.
What a clean repurposing clause looks like
The three variables that decide the fee are duration, territory, and exclusivity. Lock all three before you quote, not after.
- Duration. 30 days, 60 days, or 90 days. Default to 30. Each additional 30-day window is a fresh fee at roughly 60 to 70 percent of the first window, not a free extension.
- Territory. Thailand only, SEA (Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore), or global. SEA roughly 1.3x Thailand only. Global roughly 1.75x Thailand only.
- Exclusivity. If they want you not to post for a competing brand during the window, that is a separate exclusivity fee on top, usually 0.5x to 1.0x the organic post fee per 30 days.
Put these in writing before you deliver the raw files. Once the footage is on their drive, your leverage drops.

Red flags in a repurposing ask
Watch for these in Bangkok briefs and in the WhatsApp follow-up after the shoot.
- "We just want to boost it a little." No stated duration or budget. Pin it to a window and a fee, or decline.
- "Perpetual" or "in-perpetuity" usage. Hard pass as written. Cap at 12 months with a renewal fee at 60 percent of the first-year fee.
- Asking for the raw unedited footage "for internal reference." The raw files are the ad. Treat the ask as a full-repurposing request and price it.
- Running the clip on their handle with your face but no handle credit. That is dark-posting your likeness. Price it as full repurposing and require the credit, or decline.
- A single "usage rights" line item that does not distinguish between boosting, Spark Ads, and brand-owned ads. Rewrite it into three separate lines.
When to say yes without the top-quartile fee
Not every repurposing ask has to be maxed. There are three cases where a typical rather than top-quartile fee is the right call.
The first is a brand you want on your long-term roster, especially one that pays within 15 days. The second is a product category you are trying to build a case study in, where the ad spend behind the clip will push your audience growth. The third is a first collaboration where you want to see how the brand actually behaves at invoice time before you quote them at the top of the range next quarter. In every other case, quote the top-quartile fee and let them negotiate down.
Repurposing is where a thousand-baht post becomes a five-figure month, if you have the fee ranges ready and the clause writing hand. Have them ready before the next brief lands.
