Bangkok Rate Multipliers: IG, TikTok and YouTube in 2026
By Mai Influence
A brand sends you a brief: one Instagram feed post, one Reel, three Stories, a TikTok cut-down and a YouTube Shorts upload. They quote one flat number for the whole bundle. If you say yes to that number, you have already lost money, because every platform on that list costs you a different amount of time and gives the brand a different amount of value.
Platform rate multipliers are the honest fix. You pick a baseline price for your tier, then multiply up or down for each deliverable. The baseline you use depends on where you sit: nano (5K to 20K followers), micro (20K to 100K), or macro (100K+). The multiplier does not. A Reel costs more than a feed post whether you have 8K followers or 800K.
Your baseline: one Instagram feed post
Everything in this guide prices against one Instagram feed post, in-feed, with the brand tagged and the usual campaign hashtag. Rates below are Bangkok, THB, 2026, from live Mai Influence quotes and roster conversations.
- Nano (5K to 20K): typical 3,500 THB, top-quartile 6,000 THB.
- Micro (20K to 100K): typical 12,000 THB, top-quartile 25,000 THB.
- Macro (100K+): typical 45,000 THB, top-quartile 90,000 THB and up.
Top-quartile means you have one of: strong niche authority (beauty, F&B, finance), a hard-to-replace aesthetic, consistent engagement above 3%, or a bilingual Thai-English delivery that opens the post up to tourism and expat brands. If none of those apply, use the typical figure and stop talking yourself down.
Every number below is this baseline, times a multiplier. If you want to run the maths against your own tier before quoting, you can price this using the calculator in your free creator profile on Mai Influence and send the brand a line-item breakdown instead of a flat total.
Instagram deliverables
Instagram still pays the rent for most Bangkok creators, but the shapes inside it do not pay equally.
- Feed post (in-feed, grid-permanent): 1.0x. This is the baseline.
- Reel (vertical, 15 to 60 seconds, in-feed): 1.3x to 1.5x. More edit time, higher reach ceiling, and the brand gets a format they can repost into their own Reels.
- Story set (3 to 5 frames, 24 hours, with sticker and swipe): 0.4x to 0.6x. Short life, but useful for brands running flash promos. Price the full set, not per frame.
- Carousel (6 to 10 slides, swipeable): 1.2x to 1.4x. Carousels take longer to shoot and design than a single feed post, especially if the brand wants on-brand text slides.
- Collab post (shared with the brand's handle): 1.1x on your side. The brand's audience sees it too, which is value for them, not for you. Add 10% because you lose grid real estate on your own feed.
A quick worked example. You are a 42K micro with a 15,000 THB baseline. A beauty brand wants one feed post, one Reel and a three-frame Story. That is 1.0 + 1.4 + 0.5 = 2.9x, so 43,500 THB, not 15,000 THB. If they counter with "but it's all one campaign", your answer is that one campaign is three deliverables with three edit timelines.

TikTok deliverables
TikTok rewards time, and brands know it, so this is where you should push back hardest when the quote feels light.
- TikTok video (15 to 60 seconds, native, with brand hook): 1.2x to 1.5x of IG feed baseline. More editing cycles, trend research, hook rewrites. If the brand wants a specific sound or a Spark Ads whitelist, that is extra, see below.
- Spark Ads whitelist (brand runs paid against your video for up to 60 days): +0.5x on top of the TikTok video rate. You are renting them your handle. Longer windows (90 or 180 days) scale from there.
- TikTok Shop live-commerce slot (standalone, not a video): priced hourly, not multiplied. See the live-commerce playbook separately, because the maths is commission-plus-base, not deliverable-multiplier.
- TikTok Story / photo carousel: 0.3x to 0.5x. Low value, do not throw these in free.
A note on "repurposing". If the brand wants your IG Reel cross-posted to TikTok, that is not free. The platforms treat you as a different creator in each place, your TikTok audience is a different audience, and the brand is getting a second impression set. Charge the TikTok rate at 0.6x to 0.8x of a full TikTok shoot, because the edit work is lighter but the asset is still working for them.
YouTube deliverables
YouTube is where the biggest gaps between "what brands offer" and "what the work actually costs" show up.
- YouTube Shorts (vertical, under 60 seconds, dedicated): 1.2x to 1.4x. Treat it like a TikTok video priced in a Google-shaped box.
- YouTube integration in an existing video (60 to 90 second brand mention inside your own long-form): 3x to 5x. You are selling the brand access to a long-tail audience that keeps watching for months. Price it as a mini licence, not a post.
- Dedicated long-form video (5 to 10 minutes, brand is the subject): 8x to 15x. Yes, that high. Scripting, shoot day, b-roll, edit, thumbnail, title testing. A single dedicated video can eat a working week.
- Dedicated long-form (10+ minutes, deep review or tutorial): 12x to 20x, and start quoting fixed in THB, not multipliers, because at that scale the brand should be comparing you to a production company, not a feed post.
If the deliverable will still earn watch-time twelve months from now, you are not pricing a post. You are pricing a licence. Price it that way.

The one-page multiplier table

- TikTok repurposed from IG Reel: 0.6x to 0.8x of a TikTok video.
- YouTube Shorts: 1.2x to 1.4x.
- YouTube in-video integration (60-90s): 3x to 5x.
- YouTube dedicated short video (5-10 min): 8x to 15x.

When brands push back
They will. The two sentences that will come back at you most often are "that's over our budget" and "the other creators we work with don't price like this". Both have the same answer. Your baseline is your baseline, and your multipliers are the market, not an opinion. If a brand's budget only covers a feed post and one Story, that is one feed post and one Story, not a Reel plus a TikTok cross-cut plus a YouTube Short bundled for the same money.
The creators who get repeat work in Bangkok are not the cheapest ones. They are the ones a brand can send a brief to on Tuesday and get a line-item quote back on Wednesday. Build the table. Quote the table. Watch the quality of your inbound briefs change over the next two months.
