What to Charge for One Instagram Post in Bangkok, 2026
By Mai Influence
You get the DM. A brand wants one Instagram post. They want to know your rate "for a single post", and they want the number by end of day. If you fire back a round figure now, you will underprice yourself for the next six months, because that screenshot gets passed to every marketing manager on their team.
The honest Bangkok number for one Instagram in-feed post in 2026 sits in a range, and the range only closes once you know three things: your follower tier, what "one post" actually means in the brief, and what the brand plans to do with the content after you post it. Everything else is noise.
The three variables that set the number
Before you quote anything, pin down these three.
First, your tier. Nano is 5,000 to 20,000 followers. Micro is 20,000 to 100,000. Macro is 100,000 and up. Brands in Bangkok still try to pay nano rates for micro creators because the Thai market compresses tiers, so name your tier out loud in the first reply.
Second, the deliverable. "One Instagram post" from a brand almost never means one asset. The default brief in Bangkok now bundles one in-feed post plus three Stories, and sometimes a Reel on top. Price the bundle, not the single asset the brand opened with.
Third, the usage. If the brand only wants the post to live on your grid for its organic life, that is one price. If they want to boost it as a paid ad or whitelist it from your handle, that is a different price, and we have a full breakdown in our usage windows guide.
Nano tier (5K to 20K): the base rate most creators underprice
For one in-feed Instagram post, no Stories, no boosting rights, no exclusivity, the typical Bangkok nano rate in 2026 is 2,500 to 5,000 THB. Top-quartile nano creators with strong engagement in a defined niche (skincare, fitness, parenting, F&B) are getting 7,500 THB for the same single asset.

Add 1,500 to 3,000 THB for a three-Story set attached to the same post. Add 2,000 to 4,500 THB for a Reel in the same campaign. If a brand pushes you below 2,500 THB, they are not budget-constrained, they are testing whether you know your floor. Our full nano rate card for Bangkok 2026 walks tier by tier through the deliverable combinations and what each one should bill.
Nano creators get the most low-ball offers because brands assume the number is anchored to follower count alone. It is not. If your Reels regularly hit 3x your follower count in views, you are a top-quartile nano, and you can quote accordingly. Save your three best-performing Reels in a highlight on your profile so the number is defensible in one scroll. If you want a cleaner way to display these to brands, you can build out a profile and rate card inside your free creator profile on Mai Influence in about ten minutes.
Micro tier (20K to 100K): the band brands negotiate hardest
For one in-feed Instagram post in isolation, Bangkok micro rates in 2026 run 8,000 to 20,000 THB, with top-quartile micro creators in high-converting categories (beauty, finance, travel) landing 35,000 THB for the same single asset.
Micro is the tier where Bangkok brands will fight you hardest on the number, because this is where their performance maths actually works. A micro post that drives 40 to 80 sales covers its own fee at most price points, and the brand knows it. Do not sell the single post. Sell the bundle: one in-feed, five Stories, one Reel is a common Bangkok micro package and should land at 18,000 to 45,000 THB depending on category.
Quote the bundle, not the asset. The brand asked for "one post" because that is the smallest number they could put on the first email. Your job is to answer the brief they are actually going to run.
If the brief lands with less than 24 hours notice, add a rush fee. Our Bangkok rush fee ranges show what the market pays for sub-72-hour turnarounds, and the micro tier is where rush uplift is most negotiable.
Macro tier (100K+): where multipliers do the heavy lifting
For a single in-feed Instagram post, Bangkok macro rates in 2026 sit at 25,000 to 60,000 THB, with top-quartile macros (300K+ in a vertical with strong purchase intent) quoting 120,000 THB for the same asset.

At macro, the base rate is only ever the start of the number. The real revenue sits in the multipliers on top:
- Category exclusivity, 30 to 90 days, adds 25 to 50 percent to the base.
- Paid usage rights (boosting or whitelisting) adds another 20 to 50 percent, scaled to the window length.
- Content ownership (brand reposts to their own handle, or uses it in display ads) adds a flat 15 to 30 percent on top.
- Multi-market usage (Thailand plus any ASEAN market) adds another 20 to 40 percent per additional market.
A macro who takes the base number without stacking the multipliers leaves half the fee on the table. The negotiation playbook for the first multiplier is in our exclusivity multiplier guide; the rest follow the same pattern of windowed uplift.
What inflates the base at every tier
Four things add to the number regardless of tier. Learn to spot them in the brief.
Usage window length. Three months of organic life is free. Six months of paid usage is +15 to +25 percent. Twelve months is +30 to +60 percent.
Exclusivity scope. Category-wide exclusivity (no competitor posts in the window) is the single most valuable concession you give. Price it, never bundle it in.
Approval rounds. Brief says "unlimited revisions"? Cap it at two in your reply, and price the third round at 20 percent of the base fee. The brands that complain are the ones who were going to abuse the clause.
Payment terms. Net-60 at Bangkok rates is a 5 to 10 percent discount you did not agree to give. Push for net-30 or net-15 by default, and read our payment terms guide before you sign anything with a payment schedule you have not seen before.
The one sentence that protects the number
When the brand asks for your rate, reply with a sentence that forces them to show their full brief, not just the slice they opened with:
"My base for one in-feed Instagram post is X THB; the final number depends on Stories, Reels, usage window, exclusivity, and the approval cap, so send the full brief and I will quote the bundle."
That sentence does three things. It gives them a number so they do not ghost. It names every multiplier so they cannot pretend not to know about them. And it moves the conversation off a single asset onto the bundle, which is where your margin actually lives.
Price the bundle, name your tier, and never quote the first number inside 30 minutes of the DM landing.
